Bridenstine: Obama refuses to secure border
In short speech today Rep. Jim Bridenstine called President Barack Obama to account saying "the President wants taxpayers to shell out $3.7 billion to deal with a problem he created. His proposal does not solve the problem.
"Without a secure border, this is just the beginning. Members of both parties must demand that the President finally secure the border and faithfully execute the law. This is a matter of national security and national sovereignty," Bridenstine added.
President Obama has not responded to Rep. Bridenstine specifically, but his general attitude of "who me" was delivered in the standard photo op with young people props. His bit is posted on Breitbart and it is very interesting to watch the style, delivery, expressions and to consider what Shakespeare wrote in 1602, "The lady doth protest too much, methinks." That phrase is used as a figure of speech to indicate when a person's overly frequent or vehement attempts to convince others of something have ironically convinced others the opposite is true by making the person look insincere and defensive.
