Saturday’s Tesla protest proved again that Tulsa is Oklahoma’s largest Blueberry City. Others not allergic to critical thinking also showed up in support of Tesla, President Donald J. Trump, Elon Musk and common sense. Oklahoma is a very diverse state with abundant opinions, but let’s identify the groups here as Leftists and Humorists.
There was never a large group of Leftists, but it grew close to noon. Apparently, Communists don’t rise early on a beautiful Saturday Spring morning. This writer’s first impression of the protesters was surprise that so many old hippies were still kicking. It was a Danner Manor flashback I suspect Carrie Barefoot Dickerson might have been happy to claim.
There was no violence if you don’t count the assault of a foghorn to your hearing – much worse than the bullhorns both sides carried. I asked the dealership if they wanted to make a comment on the circus and they declined. Police present said this was the third week of protests held mostly without issue except when they wandered into the roadway. It is so hard to get Leftist not to play in the road.
The best Humorist sign was provided by Neil Mavis and posted to his Facebook.
Nationally far-left Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and other Democrats are doubling down on calls for violence against Republicans and ignoring the logical idiocy of attacking persons rather than policies… as if the ad hominem fallacy worked for them in the last election or ever, come to think about it.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Crockett spoke last Wednesday on a livestream organized by #TeslaTakedown, which has engaged in multiple actions designed to harm the company. These actions include recently protesting outside the vehicle manufacturer’s showrooms, urging Americans to sell their Tesla and dump the company’s stock.
The group is scheduled to hold its biggest day of economic sabotage on March 29. Supporters are slated to harass 277 Tesla locations in America and more than 500 overseas that day. March 29 also happens to be Crockett’s birthday, and she wants a sick wish to come true on that day.
“I am truly here for very selfish reasons,” Crockett says. “Starting with March 29, it’s my birthday, and all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down! Yes!”
Elon Musk is brilliant, not selfish, and a patriot working for free to stop the grift, fraud, and embezzlement Democrats have engaged in for generations. They are the evil they warn others about and they are angry Elon Musk is halting their gravy train.
As a quick reminder of the rules these fools follow, here are the “Rules for Radicals” by Saul Alinsky, Hillary Clinton’s mentor, first published in 1971.
Rule 1: Power is not only what you have, but what an opponent thinks you have. If your organization is small, hide your numbers in the dark and raise a din that will make everyone think you have many more people than you do.
Rule 2: Never go outside the experience of your people.
The result is confusion, fear, and retreat.
Rule 3: Whenever possible, go outside the experience of an opponent. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.
Rule 4: Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. "You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity."
Rule 5: Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It's hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.
Rule 6: A good tactic is one your people enjoy. "If your people aren't having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic."
Rule 7: A tactic that drags on for too long becomes a drag. Commitment may become ritualistic as people turn to other issues.
Rule 8: Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage."
Rule 9: The threat is more terrifying than the thing itself. When Alinsky leaked word that large numbers of poor people were going to tie up the washrooms of O'Hare Airport, Chicago city authorities quickly agreed to act on a longstanding commitment to a ghetto organization. They imagined the mayhem as thousands of passengers poured off airplanes to discover every washroom occupied. Then they imagined the international embarrassment and the damage to the city's reputation.
Rule 10: The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative. Avoid being trapped by an opponent or an interviewer who says, "Okay, what would you do?"
Rule 11: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don't try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.According to Alinsky, the main job of the organizer is to bait an opponent into reacting. "The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength."
There have been individual acts of vandalism in Tulsa and police said they are investigating, but the Humorists in Tulsa are winning. Some show up with Trump Vance Campaign signs, engage in social media, and increasingly speak up publicly.
In addition, the most popular late night show in America, Gutfield on Fox News provides this (as transcribed by KanekoaTheGreat).
Dems torched minority-owned businesses after George Floyd, and now they're torching Tesla's electric vehicles after losing the popular vote.
@greggutfeld: "Why is it whenever Dems get excited they egg on destruction? And what burns is the very thing they claim to champion. Post George Floyd, it was minority businesses, a billion dollars worth, and here it's electric cars, the holy grail in their divine crusade to save the planet."
"And by torching Teslas, they also torch the one remaining issue they had, climate change. For they revealed, no surprise, their concern was all an act, just a phony cause to bilk taxpayers out of billions, and now they abandoned the cause because the guy who makes electric cars is helping Trump cut government waste."
"Will all this mayhem hurt Musk? A little bit, maybe. But you know who it will really hurt? The people who build and sell those cars. Anybody with a pension fund that includes Tesla's stock. You know? Voters. But it also hurts the Democrat Party. After fanning the flames of hate, how can they disown the fires that result? They can't. It turns out it's not Tesla that's being burnt to the ground. It's their own stupid, f*cked up party."
If you see Tulsa’s Tesla Protesters on the street, just laugh and wave.
We are all rocket scientists now and my next new car will be a Tesla.
Out here in rural Oklahoma, (Shawnee) no conservatives bought Tesla cars or trucks because of their limited range. So, we are grabbing the popcorn and watching Democrats key the cars of other Democrats. Oh how tolerant and wise Democrats are! Was it Space X or Boeing who brought back the stranded astronauts?
