Commissioner Costello on NLRB decision
OK Labor Commissioner Mark Costello
Oklahoma Labor Commissioner Mark Costello released the following statement on today's Supreme Court ruling:
“I applaud today’s Supreme Court NLRB v. Noel Canning unanimous decision declaring Obama’s recess appointees to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), without Senate confirmation, to be illegal. This is a victory for nearly 90 employers who have been victimized by this overzealous band of rouge bureaucrats. I expect every decision issued by the NLRB since January 4, 2012 to be invalidated.
This board has taken an extremely hostile position in every case brought before them against employers.
This bureaucratic reign of terror on job creators and the free market is unprecedented in the history of the NLRB.
Job creation and expansion has been the ultimate victim of Obama’s illegally appointed band of union activists.
The Supreme Court’s decision upholds the rule of law; thereby, bringing necessary equilibrium between labor relations and economic prosperity.”
