Hillary Clinton files in Oklahoma
Hillary Clinton today become the first Democratic candidate to officially file for the ballot in Oklahoma's primary election on March 1st.
Hillary for America's Director of State Campaigns and Political Engagement Marlon Marshall released a statement upon filing that pledged a ground-up, grassroots campaign. Clinton will attend a grassroots organizing event in Tulsa, on Friday, December 11th.
“Our campaign in Oklahoma is being built from the ground up, driven by a grassroots coalition that’s excited about her proven record and fired up about her agenda that looks out for their concerns. As President, Hillary Clinton will prioritize the things that keep Oklahomans up at night - quality schools, good roads and an economy that works for every American, not just those at the top.
"Voters are excited that Hillary Clinton has a bold agenda to create jobs and get incomes rising again, to protect people’s right to vote, to keep our families safe from gun violence, and to make college more affordable," Marshall wrote.
