How to build a border fence

Both Republicans and Democrats have promised secure borders for America, but the people have yet to see evidence of that security. This is the deal breaker on any immigration proposal that any may offer - seal the border first then we will consider amnesty or path to citizenship or any other package some pontificating politician may think proper.

Secure the border. Secure the nation as required by the Constitution. If not the Great Wall of China, then the 600-mile-long Saudi fence under construction might provide a guide for the clueless.

Every other nation demands secure borders and so do we. President Barack Obama's leftist financier George Soros with his "Open Border Society" corruption be dammed. Build the fence. Do the work the law requires.

The Saudis are building a 600-mile-long combined fence and ditch to separate the country from Iraq to the north.

Much of the area on the Iraqi side is now controlled by ISIS, which targets the ultimate capture of Saudi Arabia, home to the “Two Holy Mosques” of Mecca and Medina, as a key goal according to The Telegraph.

The proposal had been discussed since 2006, at the height of the Iraqi civil war, but work began in September last year after ISIS's "charge through much of the west and north of the country gave it a substantial land border with the Kingdom to the south," the Telegraph story notes.
