ISIS widow charged in Kayla Mueller death
Kayla Mueller
Analysis: Most media are ignoring a story that should enrage every American. It should be on every front page in every city in the nation.
Aid worker Kayla Mueller's capture, imprisonment, slavery and repeated rape must be remembered.
Will there be justice for Kayla? Will media ask presidential candidates about the evil this case represents?
There is some hope.
Monday; the wife of a senior Islamic State leader (widowed in a U.S. raid last year) was charged in federal court with holding Kayla Mueller hostage and contributing to her death.
Nisreen Assad Ibrahim Bahar, also known as Umm Sayyaf, admitted after her capture last May that she and her husband kept Mueller captive along with several other young female hostages, according to an FBI affidavit filed in the case. U.S. officials have said that while in custody, Mueller was repeatedly forced to have sex with Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State group.
Kayla Mueller
Kayla Jean Mueller was an American human rights activist and humanitarian aid worker from Prescott, Arizona. She was taken captive in August 2013 in Aleppo, Syria, as she left a Doctors Without Borders hospital. US intelligence officials told Mueller's family their daughter was forced to have sex with Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, the leader of Islamic State as detailed by a Yazidi teenager who was once held with Mueller, but escaped in October 2014.
The teen said al-Baghdadi took Mueller as a "wife," repeatedly raping her when he visited. The 14-year-old Yazidi girl escaped and made her way to Iraqi Kurdistan, where she talked to U.S. commandos in November 2014. Intelligence agencies corroborated her account and American officials passed it on to Mueller's parents in June 2015.
The criminal complaint, filed in federal court in Virginia, charges Umm Sayyaf with conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terror organization, resulting in death.
Al Baghdadi
The AP notes that in the affidavit, Umm Sayyaf said that al-Baghadi would occasionally stay at her home and that he "owned" Mueller during those visits, which the FBI says was akin to slavery.
U.S. forces captured Umm Sayyaf last May during a raid in which her husband was killed. She is an Iraqi citzen and was truned over to the Iraqi government.
It is not clear whether the U.S. plans to bring her to the U.S. for prosecution.

Note: "Islam" in Arabic means submission and "Muslim" translates to mean "those who submit" so the question becomes: Submit to what? Answer: Theocracy.
Islam requires submission to the unity of government, religion and Sheria Law which is fundamentally contrary to modern civilization and the American Constitution. The problem with Islam is not worship.
The problem is law and, in this case, the murder, terror, slavery, rape and torture authorized and encouraged by Sheria Law in the interpretation of Islamic Zealots rarely disputed by Islamic moderates or Leftist apologists.
