Marquee to host Deven Duke benefit concert.

A concert to benefit the Deven Duke Memorial Scholarship fund will be held at the Marquee, located at 222 North Main in Downtown Tulsa.  The concert will feature the music of Critical Nonsense, Refuse Thy Name and Wings of Wax.  Doors open at 6:00pm and the show will cost $10.  Memorial decals will also be sold for $5 with all proceeds going to The Deven Duke Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The concert is a tribute to Wings of Wax drummer Deven Duke, who died suddenly after an automobile accident along the Creek Turnpike in September of last year.  Deven was a 2004 graduate of Brkoen Arrow High School and the son of Greg and Cyndi Duke.  Deven was an accomplished drummer who in addition to his work with Wings of Wax also played with a band formed while he was in high school known as Eyerate.
