Switchfoot coming to the Cain's.
Alternative rock band Switchfoot will be making their way back to the Cain’s Ballroom this Monday night in support of their 7th studio album “Hello Hurricane” which was released this past November. The title Hello Hurricane comes from their experience with helping victims of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. In 2007 Switchfoot parted ways with their record label Sony to release their first independent album as well as build their own recording studio. It had been 3 years since Switchfoot's last studio recording so I am sure long time Switchfoot fans were chomping at the bit for this cd to be released.
Monday night will be much more than another awesome show at the Cains Ballroom. Switchfoot is very active in disaster relief efforts; it is something that is very dear to their hearts. They have joined forces with the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma for a food drive the night of the show. The website to get involved is www.cfbeo.org.
Switchfoot has a very distinctive sound and a large fan base that draws from both mainstream and Christian radio; they have readily found love from both sides of the dial. Whether you're a long time fan or maybe have just heard their latest album, make your way out to the Cains Ballroom Monday night. You won't be disappointed.
