Horrorcore night at the Cain’s with Twiztid
Hip hop horrorcore band from Warren, Michigan Twiztid are making their way to the Cain’s Ballroom Tuesday night. The band is composed of Jamie Spaniolo and Paul Methric, who perform under the respective personas of Jamie Madrox and Monoxide. These theatrically and comically gory rappers infatuated with grotesque murders, violent sex, aliens, drugs, and social isolation will be bringing their show here just for you. If you have never seen this band and your interest is being stirred up, Jamie Spaniolo sums up their sound like this “Think of it as if there was a Halloween or Friday the 13th on wax and Jason and Michael Myers could actually rap, this is what their vibe would sound like”.
The band has 7 albums out as of 2009. The seventh Twiztid studio album, “W.I.C.K.E.D.” (Psychopathic), was released last year and was the duo’s highest debut, appearing at No. 11 on the Billboard album chart. If you enjoy Insane Clown Posse and buy in to the whole comic book-horror shtick, then this is the show for you.
