City Offices Close; Services As Usual
City Hall and other City offices will be closed on Friday, April 2, for Good Friday. Public safety and mission critical operations, however, will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water emergency may call 596-9488 day or night, and for a sewer problem call 669-6100.
Trash service in Tulsa also will operate as normal on Friday, including any scheduled curbside recycling.
The City of Tulsa green waste site at 10401 East 56th St. North, however, will be closed on Friday, April 2, and on Easter Sunday, April 4. It will be open on Saturday, April 3, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Then on Monday, April 5, the green waste site will resume its normal schedule of seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. except for City holidays.
Tulsa Parks offices and recreation centers will be closed on Friday, April 2. The Tulsa Performing Arts Center also will be closed on Friday, including the ticket office. It will, however, be open for the Friday evening performance of “Rain.”
The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter at 3031 North Erie Ave. also will be closed on Friday, April 2. The shelter will be open on Saturday, April 3, from noon to 4 p.m. Then on Tuesday, April 6, it will resume its usual schedule of Tuesday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m. The shelter usually is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Tulsa Transit will operate Saturday-level service on Friday, April 2, in observance of Good Friday. No express routes will run. Also there will be no service on Route 306 in Tulsa, or Route 508 in Broken Arrow.
Mohawk and Page Belcher golf courses, as well as the Tulsa Zoo, will be open on Friday. Gilcrease Museum also will be open on Friday. The museum will be open on Easter Sunday, but docent tours will not be available.
