Shock fall in Chi-Town 95-70.
CHICAGO, IL--Shanna Crossley was a three point machine in the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday night, but her 20 points on the night along with a 15 point effort from Scholonda Robinson were not enough to hold off the Chicago Sky as they went on to beat the Tulsa Shock by a score of 90-75.
Plenette Pierson scored 14 points and Kara Braxton had 8 rebounds as the Shock fall to 3-4 in the young WNBA season.
Sylvia Fowles scored a career-high 32 points and had 13 rebounds while Shameka Christon added a season-high 17 points to help the Sky improve to 4-4. They also enjoyed their 4th straight win on Saturday night.
The Shock were behind for the entire game and were behind 68-61 at the end of the third quarter. The Sky slammed the door in the 4th by going on a 12-0 run to start the quarter.
The Shock move on to San Antonio next Friday night to face the Silver Stars and continue the four game road trip in Phoenix next Saturday night. They will return home on June 19th to face the Minnesota Lynx for the final time this season at 7pm in the amazing BOK Center.
