Trevor Cann gets the call.
Oilers goalie headed to Lake Erie.
TULSA, OK-- Tulsa Oilers goaltender Trevor Cann is headed to Cleveland to join the Lake Erie Monsters. Cann got the call after Colorado Avalanche goalie Craig Anderson was injured Tuesday night, propelling them to call Monsters goalie John Grahme.
“We know this is a possible impact of our affiliation with the Colorado Avalanche and Lake Erie Monsters, and it’s a great thing for our players and good for Trevor to have the chance to again be at a higher level,” Oilers coach Brue Ramsay said. There’s no word on how long Cann will be with the Monsters.
The Oilers travel to Colorado tomorrow night for an 8:05pm local time faceoff against the Colorado Eagles. Then they will head to Wichita for the first of a home-and-home series with the Thunder that will conclude with an afternoon game in the amazing BOK Center.
Tickets for Sunday’s game and for every home game are on sale at the BOK Center box office or by calling the Oilers office at 918-632-PUCK (7825).
