Amateur Radio Club Offers Class This Weekend

The Tulsa Amateur Radio Club is sponsoring an eight-week technician license class beginning Saturday, June 17. The class will meet from 10 a.m. to noon each Saturday in Room U1, on the upper floor at the University of Tulsa’s Keplinger Hall, located just west of Fifth and Harvard.

The cost for the class is just $5 for those who purchase their own manuals, or $25 for the class and the manual, if purchased through the club. Walk-ins are welcome.

“The test for licensing features new testing questions this year,” said TARc enthusiast Scotty Mays. “It will be easier and more fun – more hands-on.” He said the class will cover the new question pool.
