Montgomery Gentry to perform Feb. 26
One of country music’s most popular duos is coming to The Joint located inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa, when Montgomery Gentry takes the stage on Feb. 26.
Since releasing its debut in 1999, Montgomery Gentry has been a mainstay in country music, releasing six studio albums and charting more than 20 singles, including five that peaked at No. 1. Those songs include “If You Ever Stop Loving Me,” “Something to be Proud Of,” “Lucky Man,” “Back When I Knew It All” and “Roll with Me.”
Led by Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry, the duo quickly gained national prominence by earning numerous awards within a year of releasing the debut “Tattoos and Scars.”
In 2000, Montgomery Gentry earned CMA’s Duo of the Year, the American Music Award for Favorite New Artist – Country and the Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Vocal Group or Duo. The duo was also named the Top Country Duo by the Radio & Records Reader’s Poll in 2000 and 2001.
