Pub opens at 5 am to host "Royal-Wedding Week"
Even if you didn’t get an invite to the royal wedding, you can still be part of William and Kate’s big day, particularly if your name is William or Kate.
On Friday, April 29, Baker St. Pub & Grill at 6620 South Memorial Drive in the Village at Woodlands Hills Shopping Center will be serving brunch and Bloody Mary’s at 5 am as royal watchers prepare to witness Prince William and Kate Middleton’s big day.
As an added bonus, the neighborhood pub will be awarding couples named William and Kate with a $25 gift card to the pub and a crown and tiara set. (Identification required.)
Think you’re a ringer for Kate's green eyes, flowing tresses and that certain regal, yet unpretentious demeanor - or for that matter are tall, handsome and slightly balding like Prince William - come to Baker St. Pub & Grill on Friday, April 29 around 10 pm and enter the “Royal Look-Alike Contest” for a chance to be crowned Prince and Princess, be toasted with champagne by your royal fans, and win a royal prize pack. How’s that for royal treatment?
To add to the festivities, the pub will be decorated with British fanfare beginning Tuesday, April 26 with royal red, white and blue bunting, Royal Wedding pennant flags and even life-size cutouts of Prince William and his blushing bride-to-be for photo opportunities!
Fans also will have an opportunity to test their royal knowledge with special trivia nights on Tuesday, April 26 and Wednesday, April 27, during happy hour.
For those who missed the live viewing of the celebrated couple, the pub will show coverage of the grand event throughout the day until 10 pm. Complimentary wedding cupcakes will be offered with any entrée purchase (while supplies last).
