“Christkindlmarkt” Annual Appearance

The German-American Society of Tulsa will host its annual “Christkindlmarkt” (Christmas Market) Dec. 1-3 at the society’s headquarters at 2301 E. 15 Street (one block west of Lewis Avenue).  Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2; and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3.

Admission to the event is free, and attendees will find lots of domestic and imported merchandise, food, music and puppet shows.  “Christkindl” and St. Nikolaus will be making special appearances.

Puppet show performances are at 4 p.m. Friday; noon, 2 and 4 p.m. Saturday; and 1, 2:30 and 4 p.m. on Sunday.
