Federal Grand Jury indictments announced
Thomas Scott Woodward, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Oklahoma, announces the results of the November 2011 Federal Grand Jury.
The following named individuals have been charged with a federal crime or crimes by the return of an indictment by the Grand Jury. The return of an indictment is a method of informing the defendant of alleged violations which must be proven in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt to overcome the defendant's presumption of innocence.
Juan Jose Huerta. Alien in the United States After Deportation. The defendant, of Mexico, was allegedly found in the Tulsa County Jail on June 27, 2011. He was previously removed and deported from the United States on October 27, 1994.
Victor Castaneda-Torres. Alien in the United States After Deportation. Castaneda-Torre, 48, of Mexico, was found in the Tulsa County Jail on September 23, 2011. He was previously removed and deported on October 27, 2007.
Luis Perea-Guzman. Alien in the United States after Deportation. Perea-Guzman, 24, of Mexico, was allegedly found in the Tulsa County Jail on August 6, 2011. He was previously removed and deported from the United States from Tulsa, Oklahoma in July 2011 and from Florida in 2008.
Hector Martinez-Perez. Alien in the United States After Deportation. The defendant, 48, of Mexico, was allegedly found in Tulsa County Jail on October 8, 2011. He was previously removed and deported from the United States in 1999.
Doyle Dean Dobson, Jr. Felon in Possession of Firearms and Possession of Stolen Firearms. Dobson, 42, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, is charged with illegally possessing a Walther .380 caliber pistol on September 4, 2011. The Walther .380 caliber pistol was a stolen firearm. Dobson has 9 prior felony convictions from Creek County, Oklahoma.
Jerry Eugene Sword. Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Sword, 41, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, is charged with failing to register as a sex offender in Oklahoma, after having been convicted of sexual crimes in Franklin County, State of Illinois in 1992.
Ashley Marie Kahn. Providing False Statements. The defendant, 24, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, is charged with giving false statements to FBI regarding an alleged assault, kidnapping, and carjacking that occurred at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Catoosa, Oklahoma, on October 12, 2011.
Juan Enrique Becerra, Clint Lawrence, Jennifer Byrum, and Lisa Medlin. Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance. The defendants, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma, are charged with taking part in a drug conspiracy, possessing 500 grams or more of methamphetamine, which took place from August 2011 and continued to on or about September 21, 2011.

There were eight indictments returned by the Grand Jury that remain sealed. There were no superseding indictments.
