Bomber Group To Hold Reunion

Members of the 376th Heavy Bomb Group are meeting in Tulsa this week for
their annual reunion.  Each year the group meets at a different location
throughout the U.S.

During WWII the Group flew 451 missions, was awarded three Distinguished
Unit Citations and earned 15 campaign awards.

The Liberandos, as they were called, destroyed 220 enemy aircraft in aerial combat and suffered casualties totaling 1,479 officers and enlisted personnel and 169 aircraft.

This years reunion is being held at the Southern Hills Hilton, 7902 South Lewis Avenue.
