Carter slams Obama
You should read former-President Jimmy Carter's latest Op-Ed. While the president’s detractors have long drawn unflattering parallels between Jimmy Carter‘s presidency and Barack Obama’s, it seems even Carter is starting to distance himself from the president.
In a Sunday New York Times article titled “A Cruel and Unusual Record,” Carter blasts the administration‘s foreign policy decisions and the implications for the United States’ “moral authority” around the world.
He wrote: "Revelations that top officials are targeting people to be assassinated abroad, including American citizens, are only the most recent, disturbing proof of how far our nation’s violation of human rights has extended…."
