OK bus trip to inauguration
Prosperous Investments, LLC has organized a bus trip from OKC to Washington D.C. to give Oklahomans an opportunity to experience President Barack Obama’s 2nd term Inauguration Ceremony. The trip begins at 3pm in the Town Center Plaza parking lot adjacent to Dick’s Sporting Goods in Midwest City on Saturday 19 January.
Village Tours & Travel is will provide transportation in their 54-seat Deluxe Coach luxury bus complete with free Wi-Fi, electric plug-ins, DVD player, 5 TVs and a bathroom.
“I missed the inauguration in 2009 because I was deployed in Baghdad. I do not want to miss this opportunity.” said Prosperous Investments, LLC founder Dr. Paul Prosper. “I also want to provide an opportunity for other Oklahomans to also witness this historic event."
The group will arrive & spend the night of the 20that the Hampton Inn, Winchester VA complete with free in-room Wi-Fi and a free hot breakfast. After an early wake-up on the 21st, the group will check-out the hotel and board the bus for a ride to the Vienna Metro train station. From there, the group will take the Metro to the National Mall Metro Station. Once in D.C., the group will be free to enjoy the inauguration swearing-in ceremony, the President Obama’s inauguration speech, view the inauguration parade and explore Washington D.C. for a few hours. The group will later reconvene at the Vienna Metro station at 7pm to board the bus and return to OKC. The group is scheduled to return to OKC at 7pm on 22 January.
