The USA Patriots, an organization based in Tulsa that is dedicated to promoting patriotism and conservative family values, have scheduled a full line up of entertainment for everyone to enjoy, Cris Kurtz, Organizer of The USA Patriots, said.
“We have three members from the Rocking C Stables Drill Team that will be there to perform precision flag drills on horseback. They are Melissa Hopper, Marilyn Bassett, and Beth Eaton. The Garrison Scott, Jenks High School Junior Eagle Scouts will speak to the crowd following that event,” she said.
“We also have several guest speakers that include Dr. Jim Standrige, of Immanuel Baptist Church is Skiatook, Jason Murphy, of New Life Church, in Owasso, Ken Yazel, the Tulsa County Assessor, and John Smallwood, an author. Musical guest “The Hargroves,” a country Christian group, will also be on hand to perform.”
Along with on-site entertainment, a banner, known as the “Signature Banner Sacrifice for Freedom” will be available for community members to walk up and sign. The banner will later presented to a group of veterans who served in the armed forces in appreciation of their sacrifices.
Individuals are strongly encouraged to come out and participate in this event. “There will even be opportunity for participants to speak one on one with various politicians running for office,” Kurtz said.
This event, part of the beginning steps of the USA Patriots to begin mobilizing and officially organizing, is significant for community members as it is the first step to becoming more involved and active in the events going on in our community, Kurtz said.
Ample parking is available free of charge and refreshments are available for purchase on site.
This event, considered non-partisan, is scheduled to last one hour. All members of the community are invited. For more information, please visit www.theusapatriots.com or call Cris Kurtz, between the hours of 10am-10pm Monday through Friday at 798-3460.
