The award-winning country group has enjoyed stellar success since they hit the charts in 2005, selling more than 14 million albums to date. They were the most-played artist on country radio in 2005 with the best-selling country album of that year, “Feels Like Today,” which earned them their first three Grammy nominations.
Rascal Flatts didn’t stop there on their way to the top. In 2007, their vocal performance on “What Hurts the Most” – from their second album, “Me and My Gang” – earned them another Grammy nomination.
In addition, they are the reigning 2007 CMA, ACM and CMT Vocal Group of the Year, and have won awards from the American Music Awards and Billboard.
Their special guest, Taylor Swift, is a newcomer to the country music scene. In late 2006, she released her self-titled debut album – which has since been certified double platinum, having produced four Top Ten singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The single “Our Song” reached Number One status. The album was re-issued in late 2007 with a set of bonus tracks.
