Hurricane Players Earn National Player Nods
Two University of Tulsa football players were named Honorable Mention National Players of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards.
Quarterback G.J. Kinne and punter Michael Such received the nods in their respective positions.
Kinne completed 22 of 35 passes for 310 yards and four touchdowns, and led the Hurricane in rushing with 47 yards on 14 rushing attempts. It marked the second-straight week that Kinne has led the team in passing and rushing.
Such punted the ball six times for 292 yards for a 48.7-yard average, including two punts downed inside the 20-yard line. He is currently the second-ranked punter in the nation.
