He said today that we should do the talking filibuster. However, it appears that Thune is concerned if you give the Democrats the floor they will keep it by giving multiple senators multiple times to bring up anything they want and just shut down anything down until they get what they want.

The talking filibuster does have in finite end as members can only speak on it twice and that is all. Senator Thune is lazy like his predecessor, so we need to get that passed. Regarding Representative Hern, he says he is pro Trump. If that is so, then why did he vote against the president when he asked for a national emergency funding bill on Feb. 1, 2025? He also voted against Senator Lee's amendment 4236 to strike the excessive funding earmarks which were attached to the FY 26 funding bill. The house disagreed with Rep. Hern and voted to eliminate them from the federal budget. I hardly consider that a pro-Trump voting record, sir.
