Tim Harris endorses Vic Regalado for Sheriff
Vic Regalado and Tim Harris Former Tulsa County District Attorney Tim Harris Thursday formally endorsed Sgt. Vic Regalado for Tulsa County Sheriff, and said it’s time for Republican leaders to unify behind him. “I believe it’s time to unify and instill stability and professionalism in the Tulsa County Sheriff office, and I have no question in Sgt. Regalado’s ability to achieve those goals.
Vic Regalado "I have known him for many years, and have seen his strong work ethic, integrity, compassion for victim’s families and his relentless pursuit of justice. “Sgt. Regalado is the right leader at the right time for the Tulsa County Sheriff’s office,” Harris said. Regalado served as the lead homicide detective on 81 homicides, including some of Tulsa’s most high profile cases. He was the lead detective in the Good Friday murders, in which law enforcement received praise from across the nation. Police work was credited for swift arrests and for bringing unity to the city. He also was lead detective in the murder for hire of Tulsa businessman Neal Sweeney and the Hicks Park murders.

“My family is important to me, so I take personally cases that involve families,” Regalado said. “As law enforcement officers, we have to get it right, so justice can be done for the victims and families that love them.” Regalado and his wife, Jennifer, a Berryhill school teacher, have been married 21 years.
