Verizon Wireless has deployed a temporary cell site, or cell on light truck (COLT), to Indiahoma, Oklahoma in Comanche County to support communications as fire fighters battle a wildfire in the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge that started September 1. In addition to the COLT, Verizon is supplying emergency personnel with phones and air cards to aid in their communications.
