I do not trust the Federal Government to have control of Downtown Tulsa land for any reason. They could do anything with that power! This land is ours, to have the freedom for commerce, worship, building, parks, memorials, festivals, shopping, restaurants, etc. WE the People, have the right, the freedom to make the decisions for the land, NOT THE FEDERAL GOVENMENT. Keep their hands off our land!
Goes right along with the 30 by ‘30 agenda. 30% of all land under federal control by 2030. If you think that is a big swath of land check out what the Communists are trying to do with both the Chisholm and Great Western Trails- make them National Parks!

When I first came to Tulsa, somebody took me for a tour, because I’d never heard of Tulsa being known for anything. He took me to see the Outsiders film locations and the Praying Hands. The 2 things Tulsa was “known for” in the 90’s. I wasn’t overly impressed, but I was from Little Rock, and was just glad to be away from a town cursed by racial tensions and only known for incest jokes, gang violence and being the site of the Central High Desegregation chaos. (LR did get a shoutout from Grand Funk Railroad, but not in the most flattering manner)
Over the years I got married, raised kids here, had company come in from out of town and had a home town to showcase. I just never had much to offer them beyond church, restaurants and small time theme parks. 20 years later, I still didn’t have an answer for what Tulsa is known for. Those coming in from other cities for business, politics or family, never had any preconceived images or expectations about Tulsa. If they’d heard anything at all about it, it was a 99% probability we’d be discussing the Outslders and other books for the first hour. When asked, I’ve told people for years, Tulsa doesn’t have a pro team. We don’t have a big city with a reputation for anything. We’re America’s Home Town, and we’re just known for being a great place to raise kids and open a small business. It was the best kept secret in America.
Fast forward to 2024, Tulsa is know all over the country for one thing and one thing only. Racial violence. Revised history of racial violence. A “massacre.” How did this happen? Because of politicians like James Lankford and GT Bynum, who don’t see these monuments to violence and victimhood as eye sores or stains on the community where they raise children and build family businesses. They don’t see people who have to live with and explain away this reputation every day. They see subjects who will be happy for any crumbs falling from their table - even those poisoned with poor reputation. They see these reminders of hate and division as feathers in their caps. Compartmentalized by their bubbles in high places, they believe their cities and states will be known by THEM and THEIR legacies. Not racism.
These kinds of projects represent multiple deals with multiple partners. These partners consist of democrats, and those associated with BLM & North Tulsa “race pumps.” Likely the ones Lankford apologized to for his “racist” stance on election fraud, during his CNN apology tour. A skeptical, conspiratorial mind might wonder exactly what, from our public treasury, did they give away for this self-congratulatory abomination, and what of ours did they get in return. Follow the money, if you can.
Now America’s home town is known for highway construction, race riots and RINO politicians.
I am coming to believe that Lankford is only a “conservative” in his election years.
