TULSA, OK—It was another Sunday afternoon game at the amazing BOK Center as the Tulsa Oilers hosted the Bossier Shreveport Mudbugs, a team they saw on the road just two nights ago. The road trip the Oilers just cam off of was a semi-successful one, in which the Tulsa squad lost both games, but thanks to the fact that one of those losses came in overtime they did manage to claim a point in the CHL standings, a valuable point that would stabilize the Oilers in the 5th and final playoff spot in the CHL North Conference thanks to a pair of losses by the teams ahead of and behind Tulsa, the Mississippi Riverkings and the Missouri Mavericks.
